Congratulations to Sherry Zaks on Receiving the Prestigious Raubenheimer Faculty Award
We are thrilled to announce that Sherry Zaks, Assistant Professor of Political Science, has been honored with the distinguished Raubenheimer Faculty Award at USC Dornsife. π This award, named after Albert S. Raubenheimer, former vice president for academic affairs and dean of liberal arts, is among the highest faculty honors and celebrates colleagues who have made significant contributions to our academic community.
Sherry’s dedication and outstanding achievements in teaching, research, and service have earned her this well-deserved recognition. The Raubenheimer Faculty Awards recognize two categories:
π The Junior Faculty Award is presented to tenure-track assistant professors in Dornsife, acknowledging their potential for outstanding performance in teaching, scholarship, and service.
π The Senior Faculty Award is presented to tenured, full-time faculty who have demonstrated excellence in these areas.
The nomination process involves electronic submissions of a nomination form and supporting materials, including summaries of teaching evaluations, reviews of the nominee’s books, and the nominee’s CV.
Sherry’s recognition is a tribute to Albert S. Raubenheimer’s legacy and exemplifies excellence in research, teaching, and service. Her contributions to USC Dornsife’s academic community are invaluable, and we are proud to have her as part of our faculty.
