Michael Bae

Michael is a third-year undergraduate student completing a BA in Neuroscience and a minor in Two-Dimensional Studies. He is interested in exploring the impacts of racial and socioeconomic disparities in the health outcomes of disadvantaged communities, with a strong passion for mental health. In his free time he enjoys painting, drawing, and playing video games with his friends!

Rachel Cassar

Rachel is a third-year undergraduate student at USC completing a BA in English (Creative Writing) and minors in Education and Psychology. She is interested in successful learning and teaching strategies as well as ways to personalize the educational experience. Rachel is also a Fall 2021 SOAR recipient. In her free time she enjoys thrifting, caring for her (many) plants, and singing with her on-campus a cappella group.

Olivia Newell

Olivia is a second-year undergraduate student completing a BA in Health and Human Sciences and a minor in East Asian Languages and Culture. She is interested in the psychology associated with addiction and the impacts of social stigma on recovery. In her free time, she enjoys exercising, going to the beach with friends, and trying new restaurants in Los Angeles.

Brooke Soriano

Brooke is a third-year undergraduate student majoring in Psychology and is pursuing a minor in legal studies. Brooke is interested in studying forensic psychology. During her free time, she enjoys walks in the park with her two dogs and baking.

Daniel Trigo

Daniel Trigo is a third-year undergraduate student at USC majoring in Psychology with a minor in Public Health. Daniel is a URAP recipient for Summer 2022. He is interested in connecting psychological and public health theories in understanding why individuals make certain decisions that may impact their individual health or the health of others around them. In his free time, he enjoys listening to rap, collecting sneakers, and completing the daily Wordle and New York Times Crossword.
