Undergraduate Positions

  • JEP is searching for undergraduate students pursuing degrees in the sciences for the Young Scientists Program (YSP). The YSP Teaching Assistants are each placed at one of seven elementary schools in our immediate USC community to teach hands-on science lessons to 2nd- 5th grade classrooms supporting teachers and students in science education.

  • The Joint Educational Project (JEP) and USC ReadersPLUS typically employ two graduate students with at least 3 semesters (2 complete academic years preferred) to commit to this program aimed at improving K-5 grade literacy and math skills in local schools. These individuals will work in tandem and will be responsible for assisting in the coordination of the USC Readers Plus program which serves seven of USC’s adopted “Family of Schools”; training and supporting undergraduate students to provide tutoring support and academic enrichment to elementary students.
