Governor Newsom Appoints Leaders to Racial Equity Commission
We congratulate ERI Director Manuel Pastor on his appointment by Governor Gavin Newsom to the California’s first Racial Equity Commission on July 27, 2023.
The Commission will be tasked with recommending “tools and opportunities to advance racial equity and address structural racism, and will be available to provide technical assistance to state and local governments.”
