Ten years ago, a group of dedicated economics alumni approached the Dean of Dornsife with a visionary proposal. Inspired by similar initiatives at other top-tier institutions, they sought to create a Council that would support the Department of Economics by:
- Enriching and strengthening the student experience
- Bridging academic expertise with the marketplace
- Enhancing the department’s visibility and reputation
- Cultivating financial support from private and corporate communities
In May 2013, the USC Economics Leadership Council was established. As mentors, they generously share their expertise with hundreds of students. With their gifts, they provide crucial financial resources that support extracurricular programs, alumni outreach activities, and initiatives that enhance the academic mission.Alumni involvement has become integral to the department’s growth and success. We want to expand your impact by creating more engagement opportunities and connect with every single alum!
