DTS tips for returning to campus

As faculty and students return to campus, the following guides may come in handy:
- Computer having issues with USC Secure Wireless? You may need to reset your connection.
- Need to print from a Dornsife or personal computer? Install Dornsife network printers with PaperCut or use Web Print in your browser (no installation required).
Changes to Zoom cloud recording retention policy

Recently, USC updated the retention settings for Zoom cloud recordings, lengthening the retention period from 12 months to 16 months. Beginning August 22, Zoom recordings older than 16 months are automatically deleted.
If you previously turned off recording autodeletion, you may want to double-check that you can still access older recordings, and download them as needed: Zoom cloud recordings and auto-deletion.
Google Drive and Google Shared Drives: Review your storage
Google Shared Drives: Storage review requested
USC Dornsife currently exceeds our allotted Google Shared Drive quota, so we are requesting that you please review any Shared Drives before August 8, 2025 and delete unneeded files.
If we do not reduce Dornsife’s consumption below the quota, chargebacks may apply to existing Shared Drives. New Shared Drives and requests to increase existing quotas will incur a chargeback at an annual rate of $144 per TB.
Reminder: Individual USC Google accounts must be under 100 GB
Per ITS, after September 10, 2025, anyone with a USC Google account over the 100 GB limit can still view, download, and email files, but cannot add or modify files until the account is below 100 GB.
