Biography

Edith (Edie) Adams is a doctoral student in the Comparative Literature Track of the PhD program in Comparative Studies in Literature and Culture (CSLC) at USC. She graduated summa cum laude from Scripps College in 2014 with a BA in Spanish, Latin American, and Caribbean Literatures and Cultures.  After working in the music industry for a few years, she returned to academia in 2016 and received her MA in Translation Research and Instruction from SUNY Binghamton in 2018.  

Edie loves all things translation-related and is currently completing a translation of the novel Los topos by the Argentinian author, Félix Bruzzone.  She is a recipient of the Provost Fellowship at USC and is a candidate for the Graduate Certificate in Translation Studies.
