Administrative Coordinator
Michael Amato is from Naperville, Illinois, and is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy with an emphasis in Law, as well as a Master of Public Administration through USC’s progressive degree program.
On campus, Michael serves as President of the Public Policy Undergraduates club, where he works to strengthen community among Price School undergraduates. He is also a Resident Assistant at Century Apartments and actively involved in several consulting organizations.
In the summer of 2025, Michael interned with KPMG in their State and Local Solutions practice in Austin, supporting a statewide financial systems implementation project. The previous summer, he interned in the Chicago office of U.S. Senator Tammy Duckworth, where he worked closely with staff to provide housing resources for mixed-status families.
Outside the classroom, Michael enjoys exploring new brunch spots, running, and keeping his family back in Illinois entertained with playful reminders of how much sunnier Los Angeles is.
