When you come to USC, it’s not to study alone — you are part of a learning community made up of faculty, staff, and fellow students.  We’re here to support your academic growth and success! These resources offer academic resources and services at no charge to USC undergraduate students.

Dornsife Tutoring

Tutoring services are available to students currently registered in various subjects.

Kortschak Center For Learning and Creativity

Through individual academic guidance, workshops, academic support groups, and the availability of quiet study spaces, the KCLC provides support to help students make successful transitions to college. Programs and services are available for students.

Language@USC

language@usc is responsible for placement testing in foreign languages, Mathematics, and Chemistry. They also conduct a variety of assessments for Dornsife academic programs.

Office of Student Accessibility Services (OSAS)

Office of Student Accessibility Services (OSAS) is the unit at USC responsible for ensuring equal access for students with disabilities in compliance with state and federal law.

Supplemental Instruction

Supplemental Instruction (SI) is an academic support program designed to improve the student’s academic success and increase retention. The SI program targets traditionally difficult courses and provides regularly scheduled, peer-led study sessions.

The Writing Center

The Writing Center is a supportive community of writers that want people to feel positive about their writing skills to have agency over their writing and to approach each new task with a sense of purpose and possibility. The Writing Center pursues its mission through individual consultations, in-class workshops, and a large roster of handouts and instructional videos. Consultants work with writers at every skill level and every stage of the process, from interpreting an assignment to producing a final draft. All of the Writing Center’s services are free.
