Make the most out of your freshman year by participating in the Dornsife First-Year Experience Program (FYE)!

Dornsife FYE is a series of programs put on by First-Year Advising to supplement the academic advising experience. FYE programming is designed to: support first-year’s individual and diverse needs; empower students to explore academic, personal, and career goals; connect students with campus resources and each other; and prepare students to thrive at USC from their first year through graduation and beyond.

Open to all Dornsife freshmen, the program launches with the FYE Kickoff Social, and culminates in our Freshman Finale event at the end of the year!

Track Your Progress: Students who participate in 3 or more events each semester win a special prize! Students can track their progress and event attendance for Fall 2024 semester on EngageSC

Exploring Majors & Minors

Tuesday, September 24, 2024 from 6-7pm at Taper Hall (THH) 201

Considering a new or additional major or minor? This info session will empower students who are exploring their primary major, a second major, or a minor, prior to the upcoming Dornsife Major/Minor Fair. Topics that will be discussed include the process of changing your major, policies related to double majors/2nd bachelor’s minors, how to incorporate a program into your academic plan, and questions to ask at the fair.   → RSVP HERE←

Preparing for Registration Info Session

Monday, October 7, 2024 from 6-7pm via Zoom

Prepare for Spring 2025 Registration and your Pre-Registration Advising Appointment! This info session will cover how to read a STARS report, how to find your registration date and time, where to find your degree requirements, how to look for classes and identify if departmental clearance is required, and more.
