Letters of Recommendation
Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation. Letters cannot be from family members and must be primarily scholarly and professional in nature (not personal references from friends). Letters of recommendation should describe the applicant’s previous academic and professional performance, as well as the recommender’s opinion about the applicant’s aptitude for excellent performance in graduate level instruction.
Statement of Purpose
Applicants must submit a statement of purpose. The statement of purpose should be approximately 500-1000 words in length and should describe how the applicant is passionate about the discipline of applied behavior analysis. The applicant should discuss how she / he believes graduate study in applied behavior analysis will advance the applicant’s career and how the applicant will make a contribution to the discipline.
Curriculum Vitae
Applicants must submit their curriculum vitae as part of the admissions process. Make sure to include sufficient detail in the description of previous work and research positions.

International graduate applicants whose native language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency by submitting either TOEFL or IELTS scores (USC’s ETS code 4852)
