Description
The Minor in Coaching, Health, and Wellness provides students with a foundation in exercise science, athletic coaching, and the principles of health and wellness. This interdisciplinary program equips students with the knowledge and skills to promote performance, physical fitness, mental well-being, and overall health in diverse settings. Whether students aspire to work with athletes, are fitness enthusiasts, or seek to improve their wellness, this minor offers a framework for those passionate about fostering healthy lifestyles and peak performance.

Minor Objectives
The minor in Coaching, Health & Wellness is a program combining exercise science and kinesiology with health, sport and coaching. The program leverages courses housed in both Human Biology and Physical Education & Mind Body Health to offer students exposure to both theoretical and practical elements of exercise science, fitness and coaching. The minor is for any student who is interested in a sport or wellness activity, irrespective of their major.

This minor has a total of 16 units, 12 units in Human Biology and 4 units in Physical Education & Mind Body Health (PEMBH).
