JEP is looking to reconnect with its 100,000 Alumni in preparation of its 50th Anniversary in 2022

As the Joint Educational Project approaches its 50th anniversary next year, the department would love to share the message that they are aiming to reconnect with its almost 100,000 alumni and reunite the JEP family for the big birthday celebrations next year. JEP’s alumni have played a big part in making the program so successful and some of them have even encouraged their kids to participate in JEP as they are starting their Trojan adventures.

Starting January 2022, JEP will be putting on a variety of events to celebrate this community of people who care about USC and its relationship to our community. From an interactive, multi-generational “Day of SCervice” and the Community Service Awards to the end of year anniversary Gala, this year will be packed with ways to reconnect with the JEP family and its diverse members.

Before the celebration starts next year, however, JEP wants to hear from all those people who have contributed to its almost fifty years of service, education, and most importantly, build meaningful relationships – many of which inspired students’ post-graduation endeavors. Stories like those of Parita Shah (‘95), a JEP alumna, who shared that her work with the program inspired her to be a part of the political system… “I still talk about JEP to this day,” Shah says, “every time I walked off campus I realized how important it was to give back to the community.”
