IEB Ph.D. Candidate, Daniel Aslan, was awarded a 2025 USC Ph.D. Achievement Award. His faculty advisor, Dr. David Raichlen, will also receive an accompanying mentor award. The award will be presented at this year’s Academic Honors Convocation.
The PhD Achievement Awards recognize only six current students across the university with exceptional academic profiles every year.

Human Biology Undergraduate Research
The Award was established in 2020 in honor of Helen Milligan Turner who graduated from USC with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology (formerly kinesiology} in 1957. She enjoyed her time at USC and wanted to give back to students who are interested in research in Human Biology.
