Background

Thanks to my father’s career as a diplomat, I grew up all over the world—Africa, Europe and the Middle East.  My connections to USC, however, are deeply rooted in the Trojan Family—first as a SCion, and then by marrying a fellow alum, whose two brothers also graduated from the university. I have worked in nonprofits (namely museums) and higher education for more than 15 years, and have been fortunate to partner with USC alumni and parent communities at the Gould School of Law, the Viterbi School of Engineering, and the Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences—my own alma mater!

Why USC

I believe that education is the great equalizer in life; so, when I found an opportunity to raise philanthropic dollars to make a USC education more affordable, I jumped at the chance! Matching people’s passions with USC Dornsife’s needs allowed me to find funding for experiential learning opportunities; scholarships and fellowships; diversity, equity and inclusion programs; and cancer research—all of which are near and dear to my heart. Helping level the higher education playing field by working for the university is one of the greatest privileges of my professional career.

Favorite USC Memory

“Thursday Night at the Movies” a.k.a. CTCS 466: Theatrical Film Symposium, taught by the legendary film critic Leonard Maltin. Taking a class at the best film school in the country (with some of my sorority sisters by my side!), is one of the highlights of my time as an undergraduate, and one that I highly recommend when meeting new parents and students.

Favorite Spot on Campus

The Little Chapel of Silence—blink and you’ll walk right by it! The Chapel is a tiny, quiet nook I discovered during my senior year, and I was fortunate enough to get married there in 2019. If you ever need a place for silent reflection, it’s the perfect location.
