As an expression of gratitude, those who leave a planned gift to USC Dornsife through a will, trust, or designation are invited to join Trojan Legacy Circle. The Trojan Legacy Circle provides a way to recognize and thank donors during their lifetime. Members receive special member courtesies including invitations to events with university leadership, faculty, and staff. Your planned gift will have meaningful impact for years to come.
Creating Your Legacy
Cordelia Sims credits her sociology degree for helping her see the bigger picture of what an investment in education can do on a societal level. “Educating individuals is key for the betterment of all of us,” she said. “It socializes individuals and makes for stronger communities. It enriches society as a whole.”
This dedication to education helped motivate Sims to create a planned gift to USC Dornsife that is dedicated to scholarships. This will ensure she leaves a legacy of philanthropy that she hopes will inspire others.
