Take FREN 220 in Martinique!
Strengthen your French while living and learning in Martinique, an island at the crossroads of French and Caribbean identities. This third-semester course builds real-world communication skills and cultural competence through full immersion in a uniquely rich Francophone community.
Students will explore Martinique’s history, culture, and contemporary identity through dynamic class discussions, authentic multimedia texts, and on-site cultural excursions. Working individually and collaboratively, you’ll engage in meaningful, fully French-language activities!
