The WiSE program is a groundbreaking effort to increase the representation and success of women in science and engineering at USC through a series of creative programs that enable women to thrive at every stage of their careers.

The mission of WiC is to enhance the education of chemistry graduate students and postdocs who identify as women with activities to promote personal growth and improvement, advance student and career goals, and support each person during their time at USC and beyond.

Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS)

The USC-SACNAS Chapter is dedicated to provide year-round, local support and leadership development to foster the success of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in attaining advanced degrees, careers, and positions of leadership in STEM.

Center for Black Cultural and Student Affairs (CBCSA)

The mission of the CBCSA is to create an Afrocentric, holistic learning environment for academic, social, and professional development as well as a platform for civic engagement for all members of the USC community.

Latinx/Chicanx Center for Advocacy and Student Affairs (La CASA)

La CASA strives to foster a community of critically thinking, socially conscious Chicanx and Latinx leaders by providing personal, social, and academic support through graduation and beyond.

LGBT Resource Center (LGBTRC)

A cultural center that welcomes and provides support, education, advocacy, and connection to community for undergraduate and graduate students at USC from across the gender and sexual identity spectra.

USC Research Gateway Scholars Program

Providing research opportunities and graduate school preparation, particularly for doctoral-level studies, to first-generation college students, students from low-income households, and/or underrepresented racial backgrounds in higher education.

LatinXChem

A virtual forum through which the community of Latin American chemists, located anywhere in the world, can share and discuss their research results and advances.

National Organization for the Professional Advancement of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers (NOBCChE)

A non-profit professional organization dedicated to assisting Black and other minority students and professionals in fully realizing their potential in academic, professional, and entrepreneurial pursuits in chemistry, chemical engineering, and allied fields.
