Video Production Associate
Kayla Wong is a Video Production Associate at the USC Center for the Political Future (CPF). As a Video Production Associate, Kayla conducts interviews with students, Fellows, and political figures to create engaging short form video content for CPF’s social media channels. As an Asian-American filmmaker from the Bay Area, Kayla deeply values diversity and supporting stories that provide representation for minority groups both on and off-screen. Kayla brings a passion for telling stories that amplify the voices of the unheard to everything she creates.
Previously, Kayla has served as Senior Editor on multiple California Humanities funded documentaries about the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements, as well as one following the 2020 presidential election. Kayla has engaged in development internships at diversity and inclusion focused film production companies, including Dan Lin’s Rideback and Rebelle Media. Outside of working at CPF, Kayla enjoys learning new dances, making baked goods, and upcycling thrifted clothing.
