Armen Aroyan Collection
The Institute holds the approximately 400 hours of video recordings from the Armen Aroyan Collection, a compilation of around 100 voyages to cities, towns and villages in Eastern Turkey / Western Armenia. The collection serves as a window into studying inherited memory and the relationship between places and memories.
Diasporan Ephemeral Materials
The Institute is digitizing a large collection of Diasporan ephemeral materials mainly from the personal archives of Armine Koundakjian and other subsequent material donations to the Institute. The collection includes booklets, event fliers, invitations and informative printouts from diasporan organizations encompassing the last hundred years.
Armenian Radio Hour
The Institute is gathering and archiving a significant collection of Armenian American radio broadcast recordings as part of its mission to document the contemporary Armenian diasporan experience in California, particularly in Los Angeles.
