In Agilent COE not only you have an access to the cutting-edge instruments but also you can consult with experts in the field. We provide you training and give you guidance and assistance for preparation and analysis of your sample. The Agilent COE facility houses various types of instruments including LC/MS systems, Molecular Spectroscopy, Genomics and Robotics systems.

There are different types of LC/MS instruments which takes the versatility of HPLC separation to another level with the sensitivity and specificity of mass spectrometry. You can add mass selective detection to your HPLC analyses with single quadrupole (SQ) LC/MS or you can achieve quantitative precision with triple quadrupole (TQ) systems that break sensitivity and size barriers. Going untargeted and identifying unknowns in your sample can be accomplished by using time-of-flight (TOF/Q-TOF) technology. The GC/Q-TOF in the COE offers users extraordinary flexibility from untargeted screening through to routine quantitation with low energy EI ionization capabilities coupled with high resolution accurate mass and MS/MS capabilities.

The facility also equipped with Cary 630 FTIR, Cary 60 UV-Vis, Cary Eclipse FLD, PCR Systems, Bravo liquid handling platforms and Bravo NGS workstation.

Along with all services we provide for analysis of small and large molecules (proteins and peptides) in our center, in close collaboration with the USC Center for Peptide and Protein Engineering (CPPE), there is an opportunity to create functional peptides and proteins with potential use in diagnostics and therapeutics (https://sites.usc.edu/cppe/).
