Video: Celebrating 30 years of the USC Environmental Studies Program with Karla Heidelberg and Jill Sohm
The USC Environmental Studies Program (ENST), housed in the USC Wrigley Institute for Environment and Sustainability, celebrates 30 years of educating and inspiring environmental changemakers. Through interdisciplinary courses offered at USC’s downtown campus and the Wrigley Institute’s satellite research campus on Catalina Island, as well as unique experiential learning and internship opportunities, ENST continues to expand its reach and impact for USC undergraduate students looking to solve important challenges facing our planet.
In honor of this milestone, we sat down at USC’s new Sustainability Hub for a chat between former ENST director Karla Heidelberg and current ENST director Jill Sohm as they reflect on the first 30 years of the program and share their vision for the next 30!
