  • Summary Statement of Research Interests

I study how the contemporary information environment, characterized by information overload, shapes political learning, attitudes, and polarization. Drawing on insights from political science, cognitive psychology, and information science, I employ computational methods and experiments to analyze large-scale digital data and model information processing. This work aims to understand the formation of mass ideology in our networked era.

A parallel line of my research addresses the trustworthiness of AI, specifically by working to measure and enhance the confidence miscalibration of large language models.

I have affiliations with the HUMANS lab at the School of Engineering (Viterbi) and Communications (Annenberg), as well as the Complex Data Lab at McGill University and the Mila AI Institute.
