Biography

Tolulope is a doctoral candidate at the University of Southern California in the Department of Political Science and International Relations. His subfields are American Politics and Comparative Politics. Tolulope is primarily interested in the relationship between Black ethnic politics in the United States and their European and Euro-American colonial heritage. Finally, his secondary research interest examines how punitiveness and political representation shape racial and criminal (in)justice policies. Outside of work, Tolulope enjoys hiking, trying new recipes, and writing short stories.
