light—time

“As a photographer, my work inherently deals with light. In a recent project, however, I chose specifically to focus on and study natural light; its presence and characteristics. This triptych is an example of light in conjuncture with time; how it changes and evolves in a matter of minutes: sharpening and concentrating, then expanding and spreading. The abstract and mysterious nature of the light’s growth, and its capability to engage the viewer in each individual frame, allude to the presence light has while acting as the sole subject of the image.”
