EXPRESSIONISM

Evan Gates is a first year MFA student in the Film & TV Production Program at SCA. He is originally from northern New Jersey. His undergraduate degree is in Film & Media Studies from Washington University in St. Louis. For his undergradaute honors thesis, he adapted Euripides’ Bacchae as a feature-film screenplay. He has been making short films for the past 10 years and seeks to investigate new topics and explore new modes of style with each project, while always remaining personal with his filmmaking.
