USC Dornsife’s Department of History welcomes professor Jacob Soll and assistant professor Nathan Perl-Rosenthal, who are looking at the days of old in new ways.

Leaving Caltech where he founded the Biological Imaging Center, Scott Fraser was drawn to USC Dornsife because “it’s one of the first places in the world that fully embraced the interaction between computational and molecular biology.”

Arie Kapteyn was a senior economist and director of RAND Labor and Population. At USC Dornsife, he has founded a center for economic and social research.

USC Dornsife’s Nayan Shah has recently won the 2012 Norris and Carol Hundley Prize for his second book, Stranger Intimacy.
