Two new hires in USC Dornsife’s School of Philosophy, Professor John Hawthorne and Associate Professor Jonathan Quong, enhance the school’s upward trajectory.
Even Ralph Wedgwood’s first name is interesting. It sums up “the quirky historical contingency and poetry of language, in one sonorous monosyllable,” says the USC Dornsife philosopher.
Political consultant Robert Shrum, who over four decades has navigated 30 winning campaigns for the U.S. Senate and eight winning campaigns for governors, joins USC Dornsife as the inaugural Carmen H. and Louis Warschaw Chair in Practical Politics.
Joining the USC Dornsife Department of Psychology in January, Norbert Schwarz and Daphna Oyserman will open the USC Dornsife Mind and Society Center.
