Commencement 2016: The Big Day is Here

More than 60,000 members of the Trojan Family united on the University Park Campus for USC’s 133rd commencement ceremony.

Graduates, families and friends — more than 60,000 in all — participated in USC’s Commencement 2016 festivities on campus on Friday, May 13. Amid the various events, USC Dornsife conferred 1,622 Bachelor of Arts degrees and 374 Bachelor of Science degrees. It also conferred 605 graduate degrees.

Degree candidates, Half Century Trojans, faculty and distinguished guests formed a processional leaving Bovard Auditorium at 8:30 a.m. USC President C. L. Max Nikias presided over the main ceremony at 9 a.m. in Alumni Park.

Larry Ellison, the founder, executive chairman and chief technology officer of Oracle Corporation, delivered the USC commencement address. Ellison, Alejandro G. Iñárritu, Mark Stevens, Mary Stevens, Selim Zilkha and Jackie Lacey received honorary degrees.
