While USC hails class of 2014 stars during a recent event, USC President C. L. Max Nikias says the scholars embody the qualities of the ideal Trojan.

Dozens of students were recognized for academic achievements at Leavey Library, including many from USC Dornsife.

The four new Dornsife Scholars combine the talents sought in USC’s Discovery, Renaissance and Global Scholars programs with an added emphasis on positive human impact.

The three aspiring physicians share a desire to better the world. “When you follow your heart, the rest will follow,” valedictorian Jana Shapiro says.
