The Center for Latinx & Latin American Studies (CLLAS) is committed to interdisciplinary and transnational collaboration that advances the economic, social, and political well-being of all peoples in the Americas. By connecting with different academic, legal, medical, financial, and social partners, the Center team aims to:

- Provide a platform for teaching and learning that cultivates collaboration
- Engage in hemispheric approaches that recognize and promote the diversity of Latinidad across the Americas
- Support efforts to increase justice and equity in education, housing, food, and employment
