All students earning degrees granted by, or under the jurisdiction of, USC Dornsife must fulfill the Foreign Language Requirement. language@usc helps students meet this requirement by administering placement exams for languages taught at USC, coordinating competency exams for languages not taught at USC, and overseeing exemptions for international students.
Placement Exams
Students who have studied a foreign language prior to enrolling at USC and plan to fulfill the Foreign Language Requirement by continuing in that language must take a placement exam. Learn more here.
