
Doe Mayer is Professor in the Production Division at USC’s School of Cinematic Arts. She holds the Mary Pickford Chair, and has a joint appointment with the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. She has been a Fulbright Senior Specialist in Australia and the Netherlands, and a Fulbright Scholar in Fiji. Her work primarily focuses on how to use media effectively for social change and health-based programs, on topics ranging from girls’ education and women’s Internet access to the prevention of HIV/AIDS and domestic violence, as part of media campaigns in the United States and more than twenty developing countries in Africa, Asia, the Pacific Islands and the Americas.
