This week, we hear from Patricia (Pat) Perez – a proud mother of two daughters who love JEP! They both attend Dr. Theodore Alexander Science Center School – Sophia is in second grade, and Nicole is in fifth. They’ve participated in several JEP programs in the past year – from Little Yoginis to Wonderkids, to our standard tutoring program.

Asked about the impact of WonderKids on their education, Perez said the following:

“[My daughters] have always been curious about everything. As toddlers, they were interested in shadows, colors, gravity, and bubbles. They have always asked questions, and Wonderkids has shown my daughters not to just ask questions, but to test their questions.”

“The Wonderkids program has taught them that many well-known scientists failed their first time when doing an experiment. Nicole and Sophia have learned perseverance at a young age. My girls used to get frustrated when they were doing an experiment or building and wanted to quit. However, now they enjoy doing trial and error with everything they do.”

“JEP is giving my girls the opportunity to be successful, and it’s helped to build up their confidence.”
