Dornsife affiliate (iVIP) sponsors will now receive email notifications
Who is affected: Dornsife affiliate (iVIP) sponsors
What is changing: Dornsife affiliate sponsors will now receive an email notification 14 days before USC services are set to expire for any affiliates they are sponsoring. Examples of USC services include the affiliate’s @usc.edu email address, Microsoft Office, and access to Dornsife IT resources such as computers and network printers.
This email notification was implemented at the request of current affiliate sponsors.
What to do when you receive this email notification:
- If the affiliate does not need USC services beyond the specified end date:
- No action is needed. The affiliate’s USC services will end on the date specified.
- If the affiliate needs USC services beyond the specified end date:
- Non-academic appointments (such as Guests or Temporary Agency Staff): Reply directly to the email notification before the end date to request an extension.
- Academic appointments (such as Visiting Scholars or Scholars in Residence): Contact the relevant Dean’s office about extending the academic appointment. DTS will extend the end date of USC services when the academic appointment is extended.
