Chris Snowdy, MD is a child psychiatrist and the program director for the USC Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship. He is a member of the Committee on Arts and Humanities in the Group for Advancement of Psychiatry (GAP). Clinically, he serves as the medical director for the Outpatient Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Clinic at Los Angeles General Medical Center. A lifelong musician, he has great interests in the impact of music on the developing human brain and on the psychological and social development of children and adolescents. He is also a firm believer in the power of music, both diagnostically and therapeutically, in treatment.
