Alyssa Friedman (2011)Major: Classics

After graduating from USC, Alyssa received her M.A. in Classics at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Over the course of her career, Alyssa has held positions in sales, marketing, and learning and development at a fine art gallery. Alyssa now works in talent management specializing in career and performance for Slalom Consulting in Seattle, Washington.

Daniel McEntee (2009)Majors: Classics, Political Science

After Daniel graduated in 2009, he received his law degree from Harvard Law School in 2012. Post-graduation, he moved to Houston, Texas, where he now works as a corporate attorney at Vinson and Elkins LLP.

Max Novak (2017)Majors: Classics, Art History

Since graduating from USC in 2017, Max has been studying law at Harvard Law School. Max is interested in pursuing litigation after he graduates in 2023.

Cara Polsini (2011)Majors: Classics, Archaeology

After her graduation from USC in 2011, Cara received her M.A. in Classical Archaeology from Stanford University in 2014. In 2016, she received an M.S. in Information Studies from the University of Texas at Austin. After a two-year stint as a research manager at the market research firm B2B, Cara now works as a career consultant for M.B.A. students at the University of Texas at Austin.

Nathaniel Troupe (2011)Major: Classics

After his graduation from USC in 2011, Nathaniel received an M.A. in Classics from University of California, Santa Barbara and began his career in education as a Latin instructor at Santa Barbara City College. Nathaniel now works as a sales consultant for Follett School Solutions, an educational services company that provides books and other resources to school districts in Northern California. Additionally, Nathaniel is the founder of the online Latin learning platform www.latinclass.org. His goal with this project is to provide high-quality Latin education to students of all ages.

Aileen Ng (2010)Major: Classics. Minor: Piano Performance

Since her graduation in 2010, Aileen received her M.A. in Classics at the University of Florida in 2012 and her J.D. from George Washington University Law School in 2017. Aileen now lives in Santa Monica, CA where she works as an associate at Ballard Spahr LLP.

Mrs. Meghan McCormick (2011)Majors: Classics, Political Science

After her graduation in 2011, Meghan earned her J.D. in 2015 from the Georgetown University Law Center. She now lives in Denver, Colorado, where she works for Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP as an associate attorney specializing in high end trusts and estate litigation.

Dr. Andrew Hogan (2008)Major: Classics. Minor: Thematic Approaches to Humanities and Society

In addition to majoring in Classics with a minor in Thematic Approaches to Humanities and Society, Dr. Hogan was part of the Institute for Multimedia Literacy’s first cohort of Multimedia scholars before the minor in Digital Studies was established in the School of Cinematic Arts. After his graduation in 2008, Andrew did intensive language study at California State University, Long Beach. Andrew received his M. Phil. in Egyptology at The University of Oxford in 2011 and his Ph.D. in Ancient History at Yale University in 2018. Andrew is now working as a Post Doctoral Fellow at the Center for the Tebtunis Papyri at the University of California, Berkeley.
