Professor Allison Hartnett organizes a writing group to support women-identifying faculty and graduate students in the department. The group meets weekly during the semester and intends to provide a dedicated block of time to make progress on written output (articles, dissertations, books, etc.). Each session begins with setting a goal for the hour, followed by two Pomodoros, and a concluding update on progress made. Regular attendance is not a requirement, although encouraged!
