Dan Schwerin is a veteran of high-profile speechwriting, bookwriting, and press ops, serving as the Director of Speechwriting for Sec. Hillary Clinton’s 2016 Presidential bid, a collaborator on both bestselling memoirs “Hard Choices,” (2014) and “What Happened,” (2017) and a co-creator of SHOWTIME’s hit political thriller “The Bubble.”
Schwerin also served as the Associate Director of Congressional Affairs for Clinton’s 2008 Presidential bid. In his time as one of Washington’s most sought-after wordsmiths, Schwerin has traveled the globe with the U.S. Department of State, penning op-eds and speeches on topics from the Arab Spring to global health.
He has previously lectured on speechwriting for George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management, and currently serves as a co-founder of Evergreen Strategy Group, providing speechwriting, strategic advice and communication services to companies facing diverse and complex policy challenges.
