Biography

Emma Jahoda-Brown is a poet, photographer and future experimental anthropologist. Her research interests include the emerging field of discard studies and the chemical turn in anthropology. She graduated with a BFA from CalArts in 2017 with a concentration on photography and media. During her studies she lived and worked with a local community to oppose the expansion of a landfill, the boundaries of which were less than a mile away from resident’s homes.
