Here are step-by-step instructions for logging into WordPress. If you’re unsure which steps to follow to log into your site, please email webproject@dornsife.usc.edu.
For sites with domain name https://dornsife.usc.edu
You would use the following steps if your site is already live on WordPress or if your site under construction begins with the URL dornsife.usc.edu.
- Go to https://dornsife.usc.edu/wp-login.php
- Click on “Sign on with USC Shibboleth” and login with your USC NetID and password
- Once you are logged in, you can freely navigate to your website and you should now have an toolbar appear on top of the page with options “New,” “Edit Page,” “Duplicate Post” and more.
For sites with the temporary domain name https://live-usc-dornsife.pantheonsite.io
You would use the following steps if your site under construction begins with the URL https://live-usc-dornsife.pantheonsite.io.
- Please go to https://dornsife.usc.edu/wp-login.php
- Click on “Lost your Password?” and reset your password to login. “Sign on with USC Shibboleth” will not work for your site.
- After you have reset your password you can log into your website at: https://live-usc-dornsife.pantheonsite.io/site-name/wp-login.php. Note: Where it says “site-name” in the URL please enter the last part of your site’s URL. For example https://dornsife.usc.edu/website-project/ would be https://live-usc-dornsife.pantheonsite.io/website-project/wp-login.php
