USC’s Global Income Convergence Group sponsors a lecture by USC Dornsife’s Nake Kamrany about peace in Afghanistan. Members of this student-run organization and Kamrany have collaborated on researching a range of global economic issues, resulting in 17 coauthored publications.
The first researchers to examine height loss as we age are from the Department of Economics in USC Dornsife. Their study has been published in the American Economic Journal: Applied Economics.
Arie Kapteyn was a senior economist and director of RAND Labor and Population. At USC Dornsife, he has founded a center for economic and social research.
USC Dornsife undergraduate students ventured to myriad Latino eateries throughout Los Angeles to practice their Spanish, get a flavor of Hispanic food and culture, and learn about food-related issues in their community.
