Amoz Jy Hor

Amoz Jy Hor is an Assistant Professor of Politics at Centre College. His research focuses on emotions and racialization in international politics, both jointly and separately. His book project investigates the racialized underpinnings of the Liberal International Order, and his side projects study how emotions can explain various outcomes in politics (e.g. racialization and identity formation, trade and welfare cuts, symbolic violence and humanitarianism). He received his Ph.D. in Political Science at George Washington Univeristy.
