Background

I was born Moscow and later relocated to New York City, where I spent 22 years. Warm weather and sunny days beckoned me to Los Angeles, where I’ve lived almost five years. I have been with USC for more than 18 months. Some of my proudest moments are connecting generous alumni with scholarship recipients, raising support for the Joint Educational Project (JEP), and facilitating internship and mentorship connections between current students and alumni. Trojans helping Trojans!

Why USC?

My favorite part of my role is meeting individuals whose experiences and beliefs vary greatly, yet they all share one common thread: admiration and support for their beloved USC. Some of my favorite memories are grabbing coffee or lunch, hearing life stories, asking thought-provoking questions and facilitating connections between the university, alumni and our student body.

A Gift I Helped Raise

I enjoy hosting alumni at JEP sessions taking place at local elementary schools. What better way to witness the impact of one of the country’s oldest and largest service-learning organization than to witness a group of elementary school students explore and appreciate the wonders of STEM? It was an honor to facilitate a gift from a generous alumna that enabled JEP to serve one more classroom, thus benefitting a group of 30 young minds.

What I Support

I support scholarships as I strongly believe in the power of investing in education, especially for those with limited resources. I was a scholarship recipient. I am forever grateful to the generosity of those who made it possible for me to graduate from a world-class university and pursue my dreams. That has had an immense impact on my life; therefore, I choose to give back and do the same for others.
