FREN 220: French in the Caribbean

This FREN 220 course is a four-week French language and culture program with a focus on the Island of Martinique to include one week on the USC campus, and three weeks in Martinique. In this course, we will review and learn basic language functions while exploring Martinican culture, examining political and identity issues, and keeping a digital journal of our experiences. Lessons will be conducted entirely in French, and class meetings will be complemented by excursions, cultural activities and group lunches/dinners. This course will fulfill your language requirement.
