Program Information

Located on the prestigious LUISS University campus in the Parioli neighborhood of Rome, whether you are just beginning your studies or have intermediate or advanced proficiency, studying with USC’s Italian Language and Culture Program Italian is the perfect way to acquire the language and connect with the culture. Integral to this course is the unique opportunity that students have to study Italian while engaging in numerous cultural events and activities. In addition to visits to area museums and excursions to nearby cities, group visits to coffee shops, markets, an Italian university, a bookstore, an experience cooking, and much, much more immerse you into the culture. Students will have ample opportunities to meet Italian university students their own age on the LUISS campus and by taking part in informal and friendly weekly conversations that may include picnics, an aperitivo, pizza dinner, tiramisù, and a movie night. All of these fun and engaging experiences help students maximize their proficiency gains while experiencing for themselves the Italian culture.
