ODE, the international honor society for economics, is one of the world’s largest honor societies. At USC Dornsife, ODE’s California Alpha Chapter organizes lectures and panel discussions about economic issues and career events where students can meet alumni and learn about career paths open to students in economics. Members of ODE often serve as discussants, panelists, or moderators at ODE-sponsored events. The national organization sponsors competitions to recognize and reward research and service by ODE students.

In February 2026, Omicron Delta Epsilon hosted an inaugural meeting of the renewed California Alpha Chapter. USC students got to know the Board and other potential ODE members as the semester kicked off.
