Omega Psi is a prestigious honors society at USC mainly for Cognitive Science majors, with a primary focus on creating a supportive community for students during their academic and professional journeys. The society fosters connections among members, providing a platform for networking and knowledge-sharing in addition to career-oriented workshops that introduce students to potential paths within the Cognitive Science field by offering real-world insights from industry professionals. Omega psi aims to empower Cognitive Science majors, helping them navigate their academic and professional paths while forming meaningful connections with peers and professionals.
USiL is a student-run organization at the University of Southern California geared towards students interested in linguistics. We are the only organization at USC dedicated to the enrichment of linguistics students’ academic experience at the undergraduate level. We hold academic discussions, homework help sessions for GE classes, faculty dinners, and social outings. We also provide information on graduate school, and career opportunities for those who plan to pursue a career in linguistics after graduation. USiL is open to all students but is catered towards those students who are deeply fascinated by language and the impacts it has on humanity, as well as those students who participate as a major or minor in linguistics or in a related field of study at USC.
