Editorial Board

Aumrita Savdharia is a freshman at the University of Southern California majoring in Comparative Literature. She founded this journal to create a space for students to engage with literary theory and critical analysis. Her academic interests include modernist literature and poststructuralist approaches to language and culture. In her free time, she enjoys listening to microjazz and solving crosswords.

Ella Kopper is a Sophomore studying Philosophy, Politics, and Economics with a minor in Business at the University of Southern California. As an avid reader, she is excited to continue working with Close/Read to produce the first edition of USC’s journal for Comparative Literature and Media.
