Biography

Aline Bravo is under a Fulbright Fellowship for equity in access to higher education. She has conducted research as a visiting scholar at the Universidad de Lanús (Buenos Aires, Argentina) and Universidad Nacional de Colombia (Bogotá, Colombia). Currently, she is a coordinator and researcher for the Catalogue of Local Technologies for Climate Action (at www.tecnologiaslocales.cl). She is also involved in the Soli*City project on sanctuary cities in Latin America and serves as the Editorial Assistant of the Chilean Journal of Anthropology.

Her primary research areas include environment, migration, and human rights, developed as a researcher for academic projects and as a consultant for Chilean public agencies and international organizations such as FAO-UN. In her dissertation, she aims to explore climate and environmental migration along rivers by integrating geographical, audiovisual, and ethnographic methods. Possible case studies may include flooding in Colombia and drought in Chile.
